God has given us all individually a mission, and collectively we are all called to serve on God's mission together. That's what it means to be the Church. Our mission is to share and show God's love to all people. We serve as a tangible way to show love to our community and the world around us. Here are some options in which we invite young adults to serve.
1- Our church regularly partners with
Serve the Peninsula, through public school clean-up and serving projects called Beautiful day. Opportunities for tutoring and teaching are also available. Currently we serve with Hawes Elementary school on the 2nd Wednesday each month from 3-6pm to help provide food for families through 2nd Harvest Food Bank. Sign up on
Peninsula Covenant Food Distribution.
2- Three times a week we partner intergenerationally and with other churches to form one gathering on the
street. We call it Street Church. Serve on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays by joining our team to serve dinner, God's word, prayer, and enjoy friendship. Contact
info@street-church.com.
3- We stand against modern-day slavery. There are millions of people, children, forced against their will to work in the sex industry. We have a mission
to abolish slavery. If you'd like to participate on the PCC Freedom Team and put an end to human trafficking contact
msruby@sanbrunocable.com. If you wish to receive PCC's quarterly newsletter via email containing up-to-date and life changing articles, information and resources related to human and sex trafficking, please contact Luke Wilkerson at
lukew@peninsulacovenant.com.
4- Many of our young adults serve by leading and mentoring students through Peninsula Covenant church’s student ministries. Lead a small group, mentor, play music, and impact the youth of the generation with you giftedness.

5- We have adopted a school for the 2009-2010 year. We regularly take offerings (of money and supplies) to bless the teachers and staff of Edison Brentwood Academy in East Palo Alto. So far we have provided a Thanksgiving meal for teachers, Christmas trees for their Holiday performance, over $500 of school supplies, and gifted the staff with a coffee bar upon their return to class in January. If you would like more info contact Autumn Buzzell (1st grade teacher)
